Nominated at Young Entertainer Awards 2017 for Best Young Actress in a Lead Role for Loveology. This is Chanel's second consecutive nomination at Young Entertainer Awards, last year nominated for Best Actress in Alison's Choice. Chanel is nominated at New Filmmakers Los Angeles (NFMLA) Best of 2016 for her performance in Loveology. Chanel also received a nomination at the International Christian Film Festival 2017 for Best Actress in a feature film for her lead role in Alison's Choice.
Chanel won Best Performance Lead Actress in 2014 at The Young Artist Awards for her portrayal of Penny in the short film Penny Arcade. Other nominations at The Young Artist Award include lead performance in the feature film Alison's Choice 2016, Best Actress in TV-series Hawaii Five-0 as Young Ellie Clayton 2015, and Best Actress for her lead performance in the short film Bombay Beach, 2013.
Chanel has received numerous accolades on her outstanding performance in the lead role of Alison in feature film Alison's Choice from Oscar winning editor Scott Conrad, director Bruce Marchiano, critic reviews & audience feedback.
Born and raised in Perth, Western Australia, Chanel commenced acting at the age of seven, swiftly moving to professional acting in Lockie Leonard, an Australian children's television series adapted from the Lockie Leonard books by novelist Tim Winton.
Chanel relocated to Los Angeles in July 2011 to pursue her acting career and has added over 30 projects to her resume. Including a recurring role on the Fox Studio TV series Rosewood, guest star role on the CBS remake of the popular 80's television series Hawaii Five-0, and a supporting role on the iconic daytime soap Days Of Our Lives. She has both lead and support roles in numerous feature & short film projects, television, pilots, web series, commercials and theater productions.
In 2012 Chanel was under consideration for the lead role of Melissa in the New Line Cinema feature film We're the Millers and was invited to the table read with cast including Jennifer Aniston, Ed Helms, Jason Sudeikis, Nick Offerman & Will Poulter.
